Well you have only gone and done it !! £100k mark (net of costs) achieved this morning following  a late surge by everyone and another very generous donation by Andrew Newman and then local company Eurolec have weighed in with a fantastic £3k to take us over. We cannot thank everyone enough for their amazing support for this campaign. As you know this is the last day of this campaign and hopefully we can keep the total ticking along. We will definitely being having a big celebration tonight in McMenemys and everyone is welcome. Tickets are just £5 (to cover the buffet) and can be bought from the club office or ground bars today or pay on the door tonight (first come first served) . During the evening we will be having an auction and two of the main items are a signed Harry Haddock (new version) and a limited edition (only 100 sold) George Odlin print “the bright side of life” featuring Town’s historic victory against Exeter in 1991. If you are not able to attend this evening and would like to bid please e-mail us at enquiries@marinerstrust.co.uk
Budget boost is of course just the first event of Operation Promotion and we will be running a number of events throughout the season to not only help the club financially but also to help bring the club and fans closer together. For example a week tomorrow (August 2nd) we have the Open Day which is free entry and a chance to watch the players train and then meet them for autographs and photo’s. On the same day we are supporting the Humberston Lions It’s a Knockout event in aid of the local NSPCC.
We now start the huge job of distributing all of the merchandise and obviously we would like people to collect if possible to save postage costs. To this end  the Trust bar will be open from 10am on Saturdays and 2pm on Tuesdays for all of the home games throughout August. We are also happy to deliver locally. We have most of the items in stock now  although the posters will now be early next week and the pin badges and wristbands next week or early the week after .

Once again thank you for you fantastic support
