As you will know from our newsletters and social media posts we have been working closely with the club and GTFC SET to try improve the match day experience for all and make Blundell Park a welcoming and inclusive place for everyone to come and enjoy watching football.
We are delighted that our hard work has been recognised nationally with our nomination for the league 2 Fans for Diversity award which is run by the Football Supporters Association and Kick it out. This takes place in London on September 20th and we are up against Lady Imps Supporters Association, Port Vale Supporters Club and Rovers and Out ( Tranmere Rovers). Whatever the outcome we are proud to be involved and it will be great to meet other supporter groups on the day and share ideas and best practice.
If you would like to understand a bit more about diversity and why it is important we have a training session on the evening of September 19th from 6.30pm to 8.30pm which will be attended by members of the Trust board. There are a limited number of spaces available for any supporters that want to join in, first come first served. Please e-mail us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
