We have received the following from Town fan Haydn Sandvig. If you have a clean Town shirt that you are happy to donate to this great cause please bring along to any of the bars either this or next Saturday.

As a town fan who has not lived in Grimsby since joining the military in 1982! I returned to the county a couple of years and with two of my children became season ticket holders (upper young’s)
> I work with humanitarians around the world and find myself in places like Kenya, Liberia and Haiti to name a few. While working with these hard working people we always talk about football, who do you support? Arsenal, Man Utd, Chelsea! Etc. I have always said Grimsby Town FC who they say, so I now take group photos and share on media adding some fun to the incredible difficult work they do. In the last year I have taken it a step further (just my own thing) I take football shirts and give them to children. To date just a couple of town shirts along with others, however if any of the members have any old shirts (must be clean and in fair order) I would be very happy to take them along and share among those who would appreciate the gift. My desire is to share our black and white; however any football shirt is welcome. My next trip is on the 18th September to Kenya, October Kenya, November Liberia and Haiti December so we many opportunities.
> I will provide photos and should we collect a good selection I will approach a suitable school or young football team. I know a humanitarian worker Janvier Raynold for example in Haiti (poorest country in the western world) who runs a young boys club but cannot afford matching kit. He would for sure love some GTFC shirts.
> Thank you
