The double celebration evening for the 1971/72 and 1979/80 squads this Friday is fast approaching. Here are the details of the evening:

Players – We have a number of players attending from both squads. We are also very pleased to welcome some special guests such as Terry Donovan, Keith Hanvey and Alec King. We are also hoping George Kerr will make it.

We have been in regular dialogue with Lawrie McMenemy over the last couple of months and although he cannot make it for the evening he is ending us a special video message which we will play on the night.

Book – The evening sees the launch of the fantastic new book by Rob Mcilveen celebrating the 1971/72 season. It is called “Walking down the Grimsby Road” and those who have pre-ordered will be able to collect it on the night. Copies will also be available for sale at the event (Priced £15). For anyone not attending we will have a collection point at the ground on Saturday before the Maidenhead game and we will also be opening the Trust Bar for collections and sales on Sunday morning 11am -1pm.
