We are very pleased to confirm that migration of the membership system to Membermojo is now complete and is live. This will make the whole process much more efficient with automated welcome email and automated reminders. Members can also log on using their email and view/update their own records as well as print off an e-membership card. Please contact us at membership@marinerstrust.co.uk if your email has changed or you don’t think we have it.

As we haven’t sent out reminders while we have been doing this work we have extended the membership of those due for renewal to the end of February 2021. You will now receive a reminder email at the beginning of February.

As part of the membership system upgrade we have reviewed the junior membership age bracket. Junior memberships will now be available for those up to the age of 15 years old to bring it into line with the new Junior Mariners Club (to be launched by Summer 2021). We have introduced a young adult category for 16-21 year olds at the same price (£5) as we recognise that young people within this age bracket may still be in full time education. These changes fit much more logically within our rules and better defines the Junior Mariners Club going forward.

Payment is now through the new system but can still be made in various ways ie Standing Order, PayPal, Bank Transfer, Cheque, Cash.

Details of how to join and the various types together with benefits of membership can be found here: Join

What are the benefits of membership?

First and foremost it is about being part of the club and having a say. There are also other benefits such a ST discount and ticket priority. Full details are here: Membership

I have tried to log in with my email but the system won’t accept it.

This will either mean that we have the wrong e-mail address for you or that we no longer have you as an active member. Please contact us at membership@marinerstrust.co.uk and we will look into it for you.

I can’t remember when my membership is due.

If you log into the system using your email you can see from your details when your membership is due. You will get a reminder email one month prior to the date your next payment is due.

My details have changed, how do I update them?

If your address has changed you can update this yourself by logging in using your email. You can also update your date of birth and contact telephone details if we haven’t already captured them.

Can I upgrade to Lifetime Membership?

You can take out a Lifetime membership at anytime. If you have been a member for five consecutive years or more contact us and we will let you know the cost of your upgrade.

I would like to make my renewal automatic, how do I do that?

You can pay automatically in two ways. Either by standing order which can be done easiest by setting it up on internet banking with payment to Grimsby Town Supporters. Sort Code 08-92-99 Account 65101258 or you can download a form here: standing order form

The other option is to set up your payment in PayPal and make the payment recurring.

I have now turned 65 how do I change my automatic payment to £5pa?

If you have been paying for an adult membership but have now turned 65 please let us know. If you are paying by standing order or recurring PayPal payment you will need to instruct your bank about the reduced payment. We are unable to do this for you.

Do I receive a membership card?

We will not be issuing physical cards but you can print off an e-card. Just select that option when you sign in. We will also issue a certificate to new members.

Why doesn’t the payment history match with my payments?

The payment history is built up from transactions made through Membermojo and so will build up over time.

Can I switch off emails?

Yes you can switch off emails anytime by selecting unsubscribe. We would ask that, if possible, you don’t do that as email is the quickest, cheapest and most effective way of contacting our membership. We promise not to inundate you with emails, our plan is to send out any urgent news plus monthly updates. You can also keep up to date with news and events via our website http://www.marinerstrust.co.uk  and by following @marinerstrust on Twitter and Facebook.

If you have any other questions, please do not hesitate to contact us at membership@marinerstrust.co.uk
