Changes to the Trust Board

Trust Board Update

Ahead of our latest meeting minutes being circulated, we wanted to update members on upcoming changes to the Trust board.

With the annual AGM due in October, four Trust board members will step down ahead of that meeting.

Ian Townsend has served the Trust board for 12 years, largely as treasurer until stepping down from that role 18 months ago. Ian was treasurer during operation promotion, one of the busiest times in the history of the Trust – giving an unimaginable number of hours during this time alone.

Sandii Raithby will step down as secretary after 10 years. Sandii is the one that will usually contact members and was almost single handed in organising hundreds of fans onto coaches for the play-off final in 2021. Again giving copious amounts of hours around a full time job in the process.

Kelly Billings will stand down from the Trust board after 4 years. Kelly has been instrumental in the growth junior section of the Trust around working full time – this has seen a broader number of events for an ever growing section. Through connections gained as manager of The Grosvenor, she also helped arrange acts for the fanzone pre-match.

Chair of the Trust, Kristine Green, will also be stepping down after 9 years. Joining in 2015, she has been involved and led on a number of Trust initiatives and stepped up as chair in 2021, before taking a seat on the Club board following the takeover.

All four have made the Trust stronger with their involvement and will be a loss to the board.

Remaining on the board are 6 incredibly dedicated individuals keen to continue the great work that the Trust do on behalf of and alongside supporters. They are happy to speak to anybody that is interested in getting involved.

Further information on the AGM and election process will follow in due course.
