The Mariners Trust board are deeply disappointed with the proposed matchday ticket increases of up to 16%. While some increase was inevitable, we collectively felt it was incredibly difficult to justify such a hike for fans unable to commit to a season ticket.
For a club that prides itself on being community-focused, this decision simply didn’t align.
Moving forward, we strongly urge the club to work more closely with fan representatives on matters of such significance.
The Mariners Trust board remains committed to engaging with the club to ensure all supporters can continue to follow the Mariners, regardless of their background.
